With another season of heavy roster turnover, there are several players on the Miami Dolphins who are entering make or break seasons.

It is officially a new era of Miami Dolphins football in 2020. After tearing apart the roster in 2019 and undergoing a heavily scrutinized rebuild, the Dolphins have the brightest future of all the teams in the NFL. Miami went into the 2020 off-season with 14 draft picks and over $80 Million in salary cap space. The Dolphins had no shortage of holes and proceeded to fill them throughout this spring.

In free agency, the Dolphins prioritized making additions to the parts of their team that they value the most. In the trenches, Miami added Ereck Flowers and Ted Karras to the interior of the offensive line. On the defensive side, the Dolphins added Shaq Lawson and Emanuel Ogbah, two versatile power rushers who can get after the quarterback and make plays in the run game. The Dolphins also added to their special teams with Clayton Fejeledem and Elandon Roberts.

In the draft, Miami manipulated the board and got the guys they wanted. The Dolphins were able to draft their potential quarterback of the future with Tua Tagovailoa and added more players that were deemed “Brian Flores guys”. When the cameras panned to Brian Flores after the Dolphins drafted Raekwon Davis, he had a bigger smile on him than the players getting drafted.

With all the new additions to the Dolphins roster, there are a number of players entering a make or break year with the team. In 2021, the Dolphins yet again have as much cap space as anyone in the NFL and eleven draft picks. With another large crop of players coming in, the team needs roster spots to hold all of this talent. Some guys could see themselves cut, especially if they were brought in by the previous regime.
