The 2020 NFL Draft feels light years ago as football is on the backburner

The year of 2020 will be one to look back upon with great distaste and disbelief. Due to the coronavirus, and many coaches and players being put under a microscope, the 2020 NFL Draft seems like it was a million years ago.

Players and both NFL and college football have been informed that the coronavirus has not been deemed an allowable reason for college football players to enter the yearly supplemental draft. This means players who decided to return to school despite having a great standing in the eyes of the NFL may have to either play on a shortened season, but will absolutely have to fight through unusual circumstances to get their bodies ready to play.

How many of these players have regrets about returning to school at this point? How many will try and find a way into the Supplemental Draft? We are only half way through 2020, but this year has already been unusual and may still have more twisted intrigue ahead.

Here are five players who may now be wishing they entered the 2020 NFL Draft instead of returning to school to play college football this fall (hopefully).
