It doesn’t seem Chuba Hubbard will play for Mike Gundy ever again

After an image of Mike Gundy surfaced, Chuba Hubbard was less than pleased
Today, an image of Mike Gundy fishing with his sons emerged on social media; the Oklahoma State Football coach was wearing an OAN shirt, known as a far right news outlet. Star running back Chuba Hubbard has responded to his head coach, stating he will not play for the Cowboys until there are changes made.
What does Hubbard mean by changes? That has yet to be understood, but it sounds as though the star running back who chose to return to school for his redshirt sophomore season will never play for Gundy again.
Should Hubbard truly decide to sit out, he could potentially transfer and fight for an immediate waiver, he could try to declare for the 2020 NFL Supplemental Draft, or he could sit on his 2019 tape and still be a top back in the 2021 NFL Draft.
One thing is for sure, if he does decide to sit out the 2020 season, his tape from his redshirt sophomore season will do just fine. In fact, NFL teams may actually take further notice as the stud back would have less mileage on his legs should he sit out a full season (in fact, he landed in the second round of this mock draft).
In his first year as the starting running back at Oklahoma State, Hubbard lit up the scoreboard in Whitewater, Oklahoma. Carrying the ball 328 times, Hubbard averaged nearly six and a half yards per pop. Nearly finding himself in New York as a Heisman finalist, Hubbard rushed for nearly 2,100 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Cowboys.
The blindfolds are off, and the players now know they hold the cards; this is only going to grow in favor of the players, like it or not. As the world continues to turn, superstar athletes like Chuba Hubbard are growing in unison with their voices in order to enact real change for future generations.
