Eagles: Examining role of first round WR Jalen Reagor in 2020
By Cory Kinnan
What role will Jaen Reagor play for the Eagles?
The Philadelphia Eagles seemingly ruffled quite a few feathers when they selected TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. With other wide receivers still on the board like LSU’s Justin Jefferson, the Eagles immediately have come under fire for passing on him for Reagor.
Talking heads like Skip Bayless became infatuated with what they believed was a bad move by general manager Howie Roseman, and Reagor has not taken those comments lightly to say the least. The rookie wide receiver is out for blood in 2020, and has a ton of content to serve as motivation.
A team with potentially the worst receiving corp a year ago, the Eagles got zero consistency and health out of their unit. Alshon Jeffery is returning to Philadelphia in 2020, but the inconsistent Nelson Agholor has departed, and beyond that, the Eagles were serving out touches to table scraps. Needless to say, the wide receiver position was a dire need for Roseman to address, and he did it early on with his first round investment in Reagor.

As Reagor looks to put the league on notice in 2020, what obstacles will he have to overcome, and what role will he play for the Eagles?
