Will Jalen Reagor contribute for the Eagles right away?

Given the dynamic athlete that Reagor has displayed to be during his time with the Horned Frogs, look for the Eagles to get the ball in his hands quickly, and in space to allow him to work. Expect for Reagor to be the target of a large amount of Run-Pass-Option quick hitters, screen passes, and jet sweeps.

This will allow the Eagles to use Reagor as essentially an extension of their run game and allow for them to get to the boundary effectively and stretch the field laterally. However, do not sleep on Reagor’s route running savvy, his ability to get in and out of breaks quickly, and his ability to manipulate his body downfield and along the sideline.

Given his dynamic speed and athleticism, the Eagles would be foolish to handcuff Reagor as just a gadget player with manufactured touches. Look for Reagor to become a massive field stretcher vertically as well, and look for him to be on the receiving end of his fair share of passes down the field from Wentz.

At TCU, Reagor averaged a whopping 15 yards per reception over his career, displaying his dynamic playmaking ability deep down the field. Long story short, Reagor will be (or at least should be) a feature in the Eagles’ offense in 2020, and targeted at just about every level of the field as well.
