Scouting Report Part II

Blitz: Dude has some BURST, causes problems for lineman when sent at the QB. Converts his speed to power, very controlled can get slip through gaps. Sent a bunch off the edge as a blitzer with effectiveness. (8/10)

Motor/Toughness: Full speed on every play, all game long. Chases every ball down, even when he’s on the backside of the play. He’s a controlled wrecking ball, flies around everywhere, but does it with purpose and reason, not just a chaser. (9/10)

Block Shedding: Excellent balance at the POA. Strong upper body for a player listed under 220, doesn’t have a problem getting off blocks against bigger OL. Works so hard to get around the guy that he gives up big yards going for the big play. A bit top-heavy ends up on the ground because of it. (7.5/10)

Man Coverage: Good athlete, going to allow him to cover both TEs and slot WRs. Oily hips permit him to change direction quite well for such a well-built fellow. Uses his hands to strengthen his position, however, he can get a bit aggressive and get himself out of position going for a jam or trying to stick the WR at his break-point. (6.5/10)

Next. Go-to rookies on every NFL AFC East roster to watch. dark
