With the 2021 NFL Draft up next, Jevon Holland is a difficult evaluation.

Oregon safety Jevon Holland came into the offseason as a favorite around the draft community, however, he has proven to be a difficult evaluation after watching his tape. With the 2021 NFL Draft still months away, we take a deep dive into the versatile Oregon defender with this scouting report of Holland.

A former four-star recruit out of high school, the 6-foot-1 and 180 pound safety has been a threat for the Ducks since his arrival on campus in Eugene. Entering just his Junior season (one he may have to wait for the Spring to play should he opt to stay at Oregon), Holland has been a significant contributor over his first two seasons as the second half of a dynamic duo of safeties in Eugene.

With insane ball production, Holland is coming off of a season with five interceptions and four passes defended. This came on the heels of a true freshman season where he nabbed four interceptions and six passes defended. No slouch against the run either, Holland has racked up a career total of 71 solo tackles and hit four ball carriers behind the line of scrimmage a year ago.

A Jim Thorpe Award semi-finalist and second-team All-Pac 12 safety, Holland has plenty of on-field tape to build off of. Next, we take a look at those positives on his tape as he looks to potentially make the jump to the NFL.
