Central Arkansas CB Robert Rochell

One of the sleeper small school prospects in this 2021 NFL Draft class of cornerbacks is Central Arkansas’ Robert Rochell. Listed at a lanky 6-foot-2 and 176 pounds, Rochell has the looks of a shutdown cornerback and looks to prove it between the stripes tomorrow as he looks to line up against Wilson and the Austin Peay offense.

The Central Arkansas Redshirt Senior was named to the Reese’s Senior Bowl Top 250 watchlist, and looks to be on track to earn a spot on the roster in Mobile, Alabama when the event takes place in January. After three years as the starting cornerback for the Bears, he is finally getting recognized as a top talent in this year’s crop of cornerbacks.

A year ago, Rochell finished the season with five interceptions, an increase from the four he had the year before. He enters his last season of eligibility with 10 career picks as he looks to pad that number even more as he hopes to continue on in the upward trajectory that it is currently on.

With his long arms and tall frame, Rochell is certainly appealing. Keep an eye on the talented cornerback as a league who can’t have too many has its eye on the Central Arkansas stud looks to continue his ways as a playmaker.
