As the NFL season is approaching, here is a rookie fantasy report

During the NFL preseason, most rookies will just do what we expect them to do. Those we thought would be good are, while those who we expected to be competing for the bottom of the roster spots are doing just that. But every year there are players who surprise us both positively and negatively and make us re-evaluate. Nowhere is this more important than fantasy football, where we’re all desperate to gain an edge over our competitors.

A player’s first training camp certainly doesn’t set the path for his career but in the absence of preseason games, performing in practice has become more important than ever. NFL rookies will be most impacted by the ongoing health crisis, not getting the reps they usually would in a normal training camp and offseason.

The fantasy football implications will be large this year as dart throws on rookies can be some of the most significant contributors to a roster. It can be difficult to sort through the news and find what’s relevant, especially with highlights littering social media. So, let’s look at players whose fantasy stock, whether dynasty or redraft, should be affected by their preseason.
