During the NFL preseason, most rookies will just do what we expect them to do. Those we thought would be good are, while those who we expected to be competing for the bottom of the roster spots are doing just that. Nowhere is this more important than fantasy football, where we’re all desperate to gain an edge over our competitors.
A player’s first training camp certainly doesn’t set the path for his career but in the absence of preseason games, performing in practice has become more important than ever. NFL rookies will be most impacted by the ongoing health crisis, not getting the reps they usually would in a normal training camp and offseason.
