Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami
Brevin Jordan has the chance to hear his name called in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The tight end has been regarded as a top-three player in the class at his position and for good reason. He boasts traits that can easily translate to the next level. His athleticism is something you simply cannot teach. He’s not the greatest route runner or blocker but the effort is there.
However, he’s able to beat and separate from his man with speed. He possesses outstanding YAC ability and Miami will feature him into the offense with manufactured touches. You can expect to see him used in the quick game with bubbles and screen passes. Jordan has played with less than ideal quarterback talent and with D’Eriq King slinging the ball around, he potentially can put together his best season yet. Look for him to work in the middle of the field and seams as he can be a matchup problem for slower linebackers and smaller defensive backs.
He averaged 14 yards a catch in 2019 due to the playmaking ability he has with the ball in his hands. UAB has their hands full with a talented tight end and they will need to find ways to neutralize him.
