West Virginia vs Oklahoma State boast a handful of 2021 NFL Draft prospects

The Big 12 Conference was among the first conferences to commit to playing football in 2020 amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. They now start their conference slate on Saturday. West Virginia vs Oklahoma State will kick off at 3:30 pm EST on ABC for their respective conference openers.

Oklahoma State is considered one of the biggest threats to Oklahoma and the conference crown in 2020. The Cowboys didn’t play to that level in week one versus Tulsa, however. A normally explosive offense largely struggled to move the ball against the Golden Hurricane. It didn’t help that electric quarterback Spencer Sanders went down with an injury early in the game. The Cowboys will look to improve and look like a true contender for the conference title on Saturday.

The West Virginia Mountaineers showed great improvement from last season in their opener versus Eastern Kentucky, winning 56-10. The Mountaineers will look to improve on their subpar 3-6 conference record from 2019. They may still be a year or two away from truly competing for a conference championship, but the Mountaineers are headed in the right direction under head coach Neal Brown and are definitely a threat to pull off the upset over the Cowboys on Saturday.
