Scouting Report. 6-foot-0. 185 pounds. player. Pick Analysis. Tylan Wallace. WR. 856

Tylan Wallace was one of the very best receivers in the entire country when he went down with an unfortunate ACL injury last season. Wallace could have entered the 2020 NFL Draft and nobody would have blinked an eye. He chose to return to Stillwater, however, and prove that he was healthy and finish his excellent college career on the right note.

Wallace plays much bigger than you would expect from someone with a 6-foot-0, 185-pound frame. He consistently goes up and snatches tough catches through traffic and contact. Despite not having blazing speed, Wallace seems to always be able to get deep and create huge plays behind the defense. If there is one thing that holds Wallace back, it is his route running and limited route tree that he runs in the Oklahoma State offense.

Wallace is already squarely in the conversation as one of the best wide receiver prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft. If he can show that he is fully healthy and back to pre-injury form as well as show improvement in his route running, there is no reason to think that Wallace couldn’t be drafted in the first round in April. He will have an excellent opportunity in West Virginia vs Oklahoma, as the Mountaineers boast a young secondary.
