Who are the 2021 NFL Draft guys to watch when Iowa State vs TCU gets going?
The week of September 21, 2020 will go down as a very good week for college football in the crazy year that is 2020. The Big 10 and Pac-12 conferences both announced they would be returning to the football field later in the year. Meanwhile, the Big 12 and SEC open up their conference slates on Saturday, September 26th.
Iowa State versus TCU will be one of the first Big 12 Conference games to kick off in 2020. It will be a big game for both teams as they are both considered contenders for the conference title. Whoever wins this game will definitely have a leg up in the conference race.
Iowa State will need to bounce back after a dreadful showing in their opening game versus Louisiana. The Cyclones looked dreadful on their way to losing to the Ragin Cajuns 31-14 at home. Iowa State fans hope that was a fluke of a game in a year where there were no spring practices, barely an offseason, and tough opponent to open the season with.
TCU will be playing their first game of the season when they host the Cyclones. They had a game scheduled versus SMU that was postponed due to positive coronavirus tests on the Horned Frogs. TCU seems to have gotten through those positive results and quarantine and are ready to get back to playing football. It will be interesting to see how the Horned Frogs respond in their first game of the season with their first opponent also being a tough conference foe.
Naturally, with a Power Five Conference game, there are plenty of NFL Draft prospects to watch during the game. Here are three that will play a big role in the outcome of the game and could change their draft stock the most.
