235 pounds. Feleipe Franks. QB. player. 844. Pick Analysis. 6-foot-6. Scouting Report

Feleipe Franks started his career at Florida as a very highly ranked recruit out of high school. While he enjoyed some good moments at Florida, Franks never really reached his potential with the Gators. Franks suffered an injury last season that opened up the door for Kyle Trask to take over as the starting quarterback for Florida. Naturally, that led to Franks deciding to transfer after the season.

There is no question that Franks possesses prototypical NFL size at 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds. At that size, it’s also no surprise that he has excellent arm strength to make all the throws required for the next level. The questions surrounding Franks as an NFL prospect is more about his inconsistent accuracy, touch, and decision making.

Franks will look to improve in those exact areas with his new team and in a new offense. Arkansas has started eight (!!) different quarterbacks in the last two seasons alone. Franks represents a solid upgrade which gives Franks plenty of opportunities to show that he is an NFL quarterback. If Franks can put all his natural gifts together in 2020, he could definitely thrust himself into the middle round conversation for the 2021 NFL Draft.
