Alabama vs Missouri features some legitimate 2021 NFL Draft talent.

Week 4 of the college football season is upon us and we are finally getting re-introduced to the SEC. College football hasn’t quite felt like college football. Sure, we’ve gotten games the past few weekends, but it just hasn’t had the juice that we are used too, but with the SEC returning to play, there’s a good chance the electricity is back despite no fans in the stands.

In the SEC’s first week of play, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Missouri Tigers in what should be a one-sided affair in Alabama’s favor. The Crimson Tide will look to get what they hope to be a championship season rolling against the Tigers on Saturday. In this game will be several big-time prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft, including several players who could find themselves drafted in the first round in this upcoming draft.

Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

It seems as though every single year we are talking about a Crimson Tide defensive tackle. Last year, it was Raekwon Davis, the year before it was Quinnen Williams, and the year before that it was Da’Ron Payne. From 2016 and on, Alabama has had interior defensive linemen go in the first two rounds of the draft and it appears they have another one in Christian Barmore.

Due to the fact that Davis, was still on the team last season, Barmore was forced to come off the bench, but when he stepped foot on the field, he looked like he belonged. He was only a redshirt freshman last season, but he was throwing offensive linemen around like he was a redshirt senior. Barmore has to prove that he can be reliable in a more extensive role but based on his flashes last season, Alabama is likely to get another guy in the top two rounds and perhaps the first.
