Kansas State vs Oklahoma: 4 2021 NFL Draft prospects to watch
EDGE Wyatt Hubert, Kansas State
Hubert is only a true junior but he is someone that could be brimming with potential. He was First Team All-Big 12 last season after posting 12.5 tackles for a loss and seven sacks, and that was with just seven starts. He is quick off the ball and able to immediately put pressure on the offensive lineman.
His good speed and athletic ability and hand usage allow him to always get upfield in pass rush. He’s very quick to shed blocks and displays excellent strength. He had good ability to dip his shoulder and get around the edge and underneath the offensive lineman. He has also shown a pretty nice spin move as another weapon in his arsenal.
The former three-star recruit is already turning into a leader for the Wildcats and already has a sack this season to his credit. He may not declare for 2021, but he’s definitely on the radar for 2022. But Saturday will be one of his toughest challenges yet against Oklahoma and the newest sensation, quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Can Hubert keep the heat on Rattler in this matchup as Kansas State vs Oklahoma is set to kick off at noon today? He remains an intriguing Wildcat to keep an eye on with the 2021 NFL Draft up next for him.
