December 6th vs Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals

For the third time since 2018, Tua Tagovailoa will be facing off against Joe Burrow. Tua and the Alabama Crimson Tide took the first matchup in a 26-0 blowout. Burrow, then with the LSU Tigers, finished 18-35, with 184 yards and an interception. It is one of the more embarrassing losses for LSU at home in recent memory.

The Crimson Tide would go on to fall to Clemson in the National Championship game. In 2019, with Tua coming back from an ankle injury, the two faced off again, this time in Tuscaloosa. Both of them lit up the scoreboard and Burrow’s Tigers took a 46-41 win in an epic shootout. That win cemented LSU as a contender, and they ran the table all the way to a perfect 15-0 title season.

They will face off for the third time in week 13, in a game that may have playoff implications for the Dolphins. Burrow has played well to this point and Tua will have a couple extra games under his belt. Similarly with Herbert, Tua will be linked to Burrow forever after their instant classic showdown a year ago. Can Tagovailoa get his revenge on Burrow in this game, in what will be his sixth start of his career?
