Here are three positions of need for the Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are off to a 5-1 start here in the first half of the 2020 NFL season. Currently their offense ranks near the bottom of the NFL at 27th, a drop off from their high scoring affair in 2019. The defense for Baltimore Ravens ranks within the top of NFL at ninth.

Despite ranking sixth in the league sacks, the Baltimore Ravens went out and traded for Vikings defensive end Yannick Ngakoue after not having a major presence on the edge. Ngakoue looks to start opposite Matt Judon in the this weekends matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

That said, this offseason the Baltimore Ravens must choose between the two pass rushers as both will enter the offseason without a long-term contract. With other names such as Willie Snead, Matt Skura and Tyus Bowser also playing on expiring contracts, the Baltimore Ravens must choose wisely. Aside from pending free agents, the Baltimore Ravens could look to add more weapons around quarterback Lamar Jackson with one of their early draft picks.

They could also take a look at positions like safety and nickel corner. Deshon Elliott has played solid football at free safety but the Baltimore Ravens may look to upgrade if the right player is available. As for nickel, General Manager Eric DeCosta may look to cut ties with the talented but often injured Tavon Young after this season. If so, they could look for a potential replacement at some point.

With that, here are the three important positions of need for the Baltimore Ravens with potential targets for the 2021 NFL Draft.
