Cleveland Browns add Jaycee Horn, significant defensive talent in mock draft

Round 5, Pick 162: Kylin Hill, RB, Mississippi State
The Browns re-signed Kareem Hunt this past offseason, and with one running back locked down for the future, it seems unlikely an analytical front office will pay two. This may mean they will either shop Nick Chubb this offseason, or let him ride our his contract before hitting the open market.
If that is the case, then adding a young running back sooner rather than later may be in the plan for Berry and company in the 2021 NFL Draft. Here they do just that as they add the high profile Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill with their fifth round selection.
Round 6, Pick 194: James Wiggins, S, Cincinnati
A second safety is absolutely not out of the question for the Browns.
Defensive coordinator wants to run three safeties on the field on a consistent basis, and just does not have the personnel to do so. In fact, there may be only one long term serviceable safety on the roster in Ronnie Harrison. After landing Nasirildeen earlier in this mock draft, the Browns now stay in-state and land the Cincinnati safety James Wiggins.
Round 7, Pick 238: Joshua Kaindoh, EDGE, Florida State
Not only do the Browns land two safeties in this mock draft, but they also land two edge rushers as well. Adrian Clayborn, Porter Gustin, and Olivier Vernon are all free agents after the season. While Gustin is restricted and will likely be back, the Browns will need a four-man rotation.
Just as Gustin was a former five-star recruit who ended up at the bottom of the barrel due to health, Florida State’s Joshua Kaindoh is in the same boat. With a world of upside still, the Browns add Kaindoh in hopes that he can develop into a solid rotational player after an underwhelming career in Tallahassee.
