What is his 2021 NFL Draft outlook?

After a strong start to his 2020 season through six games, Zaven Collins looks every bit of a top-50 pick in the upcoming draft. This writer currently has Collins graded out as a mid-second round prospect after watching his performances against both the University of Central Florida and against Tulane.

He currently sits as a top-five linebacker in this 2021 NFL Draft, behind the likes of big school studs Parsons, Moses, Owusu-Koramoah, and Bolton. He has excellent size, near the top of his position historically, and he is no slouch athletically as well. When he heads to the NFL Scouting Combine early in 2021, Collins will prove he moves quite well for a man his size.

Along a talented defense in Oklahoma, Collins has led the way and has yet to feel any sense of pressure. While he has a few areas he can improve or add to his film as Tulsa rounds out their season, Collins will be the anchor of their success.

Big, fast, strong, and fluid, Collins has the makings of a linebacker who will hear his name called within the first two rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft. As the Golden Hurricane continue to magically find themselves in the win column, look for Collins to continue to make an impact on the field and on his draft stock.
