Where does Christian Darrisaw fit best in the NFL?

As declarations for the 2021 NFL Draft are beginning to roll in, Virginia Tech’s offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw has been one of the biggest risers this season and is off to the next level as a result. After his impressive 2020 campaign, Darrisaw now looks every bit worthy of being selected in the top-32 of the draft this upcoming April.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 314 pounds, Darrisaw is not only big and strong, displaying the ability to win in the phonebooth, but he can also track upfield as he puts his athletic ability on display as well. Keeping that in mind, what are four of his most ideal fits in the 2021 NFL Draft as he is likely to hear his name called in the top-32 this April?

1. Chicago Bears

Should the Chicago Bears be out of the reach of one of the top-four quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft, then they will opt for the next need on the board. As the Bears play out the rest of their season, they are currently rolling out Charles Leno Jr. and Germain Ifedi at the book ends of their offensive line.

As previously mentioned, Darrisaw is every bit worthy of being the second tackle off of the board this upcoming April, putting him well within reach of Chicago. Darrisaw will likely be high on the board in Chicago, and should the stars align, the former Virginia Tech offensive tackle may just find himself in a Bears’ uniform at the start of the 2021 season.
