2021 NFL Draft: 5 most exciting prospects at Reese’s Senior Bowl
2. Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
Kadarius Toney is one of the most exciting players to watch on a week to week basis. His pure playmaking ability and joystick like movements make him one of the most unique players in all of college football. If you turn on a University of Florida football game, there will be at least one explosie play made by Kadarius Toney. The term joystick like movement has never been used so accurately. Pair that with running back like contact balance and you have yourself a very good football player.
Zach Apt at Expand The Boxscore gives his thoughts on Toney’s 2020 season:
"“Currently, Kadarius Toney is putting on a playmaking clinic for the Gators this year. He’s answering questions about his full potential when healthy. He is creating separation on his cuts and giving Kyle Trask throwing windows downfield. He is showing off his contact balance and RAC ability on screens and quick passes.”"
At the Senior Bowl, there are a lot of one on one reps run by the wide receivers and cornerbacks. Kadarius Toney happens to have improved his route running this year. Pairing a receiver with the movement ability of Toney’s caliber and a cornerback from a lackluster Senior Bowl class will be must see television.
There is a very good chance that Kadarius Toney does not lose a one on one rep all week. There will not be a more exciting player to watch at the Senior Bowl than Kadarius Toney, and that will be evident by the time the week concludes. So get ready to watch every Kadarius Toney one on one rep on repeat, because they will all be fun.
