4. Jabril Cox, LB, LSU

Another graduate transfer who can put together an exciting week in Mobile! Jabril Cox transferred from North Dakota State to LSU and is known for his athleticism, range and coverage ability. When the words athleticism and range are paired with a linebacker, heads turn.

Watching a linebacker who can run from sideline to sideline in the blink of an eye is something that is always exciting to watch, and Cox has that ability. Jabril Cox thrives as an overhang backer who gets to run with players in coverage and show off that athleticism. He could add some functional strength and overall consistency, but he’s going to catch your eye while playing in Mobile.

Cox is one of a few good coverage linebackers in the 2021 NFL Draft class, but the Senior Bowl roster is limited, so seeing Cox sprint across the field and be able to run with slot receivers will impress just about anybody. Linebacker is not always the position football watchers would associate with excitement, but athletic, rangy linebackers are always a treat to watch.

So when you are watching the linebackers at the Senior Bowl, keep an eye out for that LSU helmet. He’ll be running fast and hard on every rep.
