Round 1: Pick 24- Terrace Marshall Jr. – Wide Receiver – LSU

If one takes to Twitter,  one may find that the Baltimore Ravens fan base is torn on who their favorite team should take in next draft. Depending on who ask, the two biggest position that fans argue over are receiver and interior offensive. Some cite the need at receiver as so great that the Baltimore Ravens need to make a move early in the draft. Others believe receiver can wait, and offensive line should be the priority.

Playing devils advocate for the former, the Baltimore Ravens due need a true number one out there on the perimeter. Sure, they could look to target someone like Allen Robinson in free agency, however, Robinson will command plenty of money and the price might not be in their range. Therefore, Terrace Marshall Jr. out of LSU is the choice at this spot.

Marshall Jr. is a tall, well built wide receiver who can come in be that possession catch type of player that Miles Boykin has failed to become. Marshall Jr has a sure pair of hands and an excellent catch radius, showing an ability to consistently catch those tough passes.

While he’s not as an accomplished route runner as his former teammate Justin Jefferson, Marshall Jr. is fairly competent in that regard, showing good releases and works well against press.

Marshall Jr. is solid complement to the speed the Baltimore Ravens currently posses in Brown and Devin Duvernay, who likely be taking over slot duties in 2021.
