3 2021 NFL Draft fits for Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes

Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars beat the Indianapolis Colts to start out the season, but have admirably lost 14 in a row, and due to the Jets ineptitude, have now locked up the first overall pick, and therefore have the privilege to select Lawrence. They also own the Los Angeles Rams first-round pick by way of the Jalen Ramsey pick, and the selection is #21 as of now. The Jags traded a disgruntled cornerback about to get paid for two firsts and a fourth and then landed a nearly flawless QB prospect the year after. That’s exactly how they drew it up.
Much like New York, Jacksonville is in the middle of a rebuild (although with Lawrence, the light at the end of the tunnel is now approaching much quicker) and lacks young talent in the secondary outside of rookie C.J. Henderson, who had an up and down first season. Getting him a running mate would be a good idea, and while 21 may seem high for Stokes, but in a relatively weak class, his 4.3 speed and 2020 ball production (four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns), that may be where his stock ends up.
Henderson surprised many by going ninth overall in 2020. There’s no understating how important the CB position is, and that means teams will always be looking for talent, even if they have to overpay slightly to get it.
