Washington Football Team: What’s next for QB Dwayne Haskins?

Washington Football Team fed up with maturity issues
There are several different instances where we’ve had to question the maturity of Haskins. After his first NFL win, he was caught taking a selfie with a fan before the game had ended and Case Keenum had to go in to take the last snap. Listen, as a young quarterback who just won his first game, I understand the excitement.
While it’s not a big deal to me, it’s an example of knowing that there’s a time and place for everything. Again, learning how to be professional comes with being the leader of an organization. Also, there were reports that Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson criticized Dwayne Haskins about learning the playbook. He was confused with play calls and clearly was not putting in the time and effort to lead his team.
In addition, Haskins was seen in the strip club after a loss with no mask a week ago. This was his second violation of the year and was fined 40k and the team stripped him of his captain title. You lose a game in which you didn’t particularly play well in and your first plan was to head to the strip club. It’s a bad look on the young man.
Haskins hasn’t taken the job seriously and he’s reaping the benefits of his actions. The NFL is a business and playing quarterback is no easy task. The young man could use this as a learning experiment and grow from this.
