4. Travis Etienne, Clemson

Okay, okay, this a dream to have him fall to the end of the second round or possibly the third round. He has been one of my favorite players in college football in the past decade and is a superstar athlete.

He likely won’t be there for the Bucs but if he does fall which I don’t see why he would fall unless he has a horrible combine or a team is worried about how much tread is left on his tires after a super productive four years at Clemson. Etienne can do it all, he reminds me of a bigger version of Percy Harvin. You can put him in the backfield, you can put him out wide, and he can make plays in the return game.

He probably would have been a late first-round or an early second-round pick last year if he declared early but I understand that maybe his college goals outweighed his pro aspirations at the time.

Adding Etienne would obviously add more depth at running back but also would be a weapon that could be used as a decoy to help others in the offense. I also love the fact that Etienne has the home run ability each time he touches the ball. There were times in the past three years where I held my breath each time he caught or got the ball because he could easily take it to the house.

This potential fit might be a long shot but something that I would consider in Tampa.
