1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Surprise everyone, Trevor Lawrence going first overall to the Jaguars. This has been the pick regardless of who has held the first overall pick for the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s the next big thing that is ready to take the league by storm.

Regarded as the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck, Lawrence brings breathtaking levels of talent to the football field. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 220 pounds, he’s everything owners in the NFL dream for to lead their teams to success. A three-year starter at Clemon University he leaves the program with 10,098 passing yards and 108 total touchdowns.

Lawrence has been a winner everywhere he’s been, dating all the way back to his high school days in Georgia where he won 41 games in a row and two state championships. He leaves Clemson with a National Championship and a 34-2 record.

Urban Meyer has spoken very highly of Trevor Lawrence in the past and he should be more than excited to start his NFL coaching tenure with Lawrence. Jacksonville has good young talent on their roster that will help Lawrence become the success story we are predicting him to be. Laviska Shenault, James Robinson, DJ Chark, and Keelan Cole to name a few.

Winning is a top priority in the future for this organization and taking Trevor first overall should help achieve those goals over time. Things certainly will be interesting for Meyer and Lawrence who are not used to losing games in their respective careers.
