2. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

The Raiders made some heavy investments into the linebacker core last year with the additions of Cory Littleton, Raekwon McMillan, Tanner Muse, and Nick Kwiatkowski. The returns were not so great and the assets they tied up in those players should not sway them from adding a potential high level player to the group.

Owusu-Koramoah’s speed and versatility is going to make him a weapon on any defense. In the run game, his ability to read, react, and move make him an immediate candidate for a WILL role. He’s smaller, but has the athleticism to tackle effectively and put that on display all throughout 2020.

Gus Bradley has a great history with developing linebackers as well. Whether it be Seattle or in Jacksonville, many of the linebackers he has worked with have gone on to have long and successful careers in the NFL. Bobby Wagner may be the best linebacker of this decade, and there are countless others on the list.

Owusu-Koramoah is your prototypical modern coverage backer. In a division with Tarvis Kelce and the emerging Noah Fant, that is only going to get even more important. His ability to move and his prowess in converge are some traits that can help the Raiders limit offenses like the Chiefs to under 35 points, a practice that is foregin to the Las Vegas Raiders.
