Time for Jalen Hurts?

The Eagles made a peculiar selection in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by selecting Jalen Hurts out of Oklahoma. While he sat on the bench most of the season, Hurts came in and started four games for the Eagles after the benching of Wentz. Needless to say, it went less than ideal for Hurts as he led them to a 1-3 record, with a middling quarterback rating and finishing behind the likes of Marcus Mariota, Mason Rudolph, and C.J. Beathard in overall efficiency.

Sure, he was a rookie with only four starts under his belt behind an injury riddled offensive line, but the Eagles have a tough choice to make nonetheless. Outside of the sacks he took, the four interceptions he threw, and his lack of accuracy, Hurts does not possess great arm talent to push the ball down the field and towards the boundary; these are two levels of the field Hurts has to be able to hit with consistency to be successful at the NFL level.

If Foles comes to Philadelphia, then it will be a sign that they feel like Hurts and Foles is a competent room, but in the bigger picture it seems like a recipe to head deeper into quarterback purgatory. Will the Eagles roll the dice on Hurts or look to draft one with the sixth overall pick?
