Nick Foles gets another chance with his old team?

If the return of Nick Foles is true, then that more than likely means the Eagles think they have two solid quarterbacks on the roster. With Foles being rumored as part of the trade package with the Bears, the Eagles look likely to head into the 2021 season with a quarterback battle between him and Hurts. Does the man who led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory in 2018 get another shot in the City of Brotherly Love?

After his departure from the Eagles, Foles went on to sign a massive deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This turned out to be short lived after he injured his collarbone during the first week of the season. Gardner Minshew then took over as the starting quarterback, and that was curtains for Foles. As the Jags went into tank mode with Minshew at the helm this season (a plan that worked as they will now land Trevor Lawrence) Foles was shipped off to the Bears.

Foles was far more efficient than Mitchell Trubisky this season when he suited up, and even beat the Super Bowl bound Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in the season. However, another injury pushed Trubisky back into the starting lineup. The Bears, now desperate for a quarterback, look like they are sending Foles full circle. Will he have a chance to win the starting job with the Eagles yet again?
