The Raiders make a splash instantly with Allen Robinson

This should be and most likely is the top priority for the Raiders this year. As rookies, Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards failed to make true strides. Nelson Agholor their leading wide receiver last year is currently a free agent, and if you are going to pay up for a wide receiver you might as well get the best one you can.

Allen Robinson, despite having a horrid quarterback situation, was able to post some amazing stats in multiple years. Allen has had over 1,100 yards in back to back seasons.

The Bears don’t seem likely to retain Allen Robinson, with so many other questions on the roster and him wanting to get paid. Allen would instantly become the best wide receiver the Raiders have had since most likely Tim Brown. This could be their one last shot to see if Derek Carr truly can bet the quarterback that can lead them back to the promised land.

Also, if it shows he cant the next quarterback gets to step into a team boasting an offense comprised of; Allen Robinson, Josh Jacobs, Darren Waller, Henry Ruggs III, and Bryan Edwards. Which, is a really good group of players, especially if that quarterback just so happens to be a rookie.

This could adjust the draft plan in two ways. One, if they land Robinson I expect them to bypass a quarterback in the first round and look to the defensive side of the ball. Two this would set them up to no longer need to look at a wide receiver at any point in the draft.
