There are multiple reasons I think this can happen and it would most certainly change their draft outlook. However, they will have to beat out the Green Bay Packers for his services, who were after him before the trade deadline. Will Fuller, mixed with Moore, and Anderson would instantly give them the most explosive wide receiver corps in the NFC.

Will Fuller V put on a show last year, racking up 879 yards, eight touchdowns, and 53 receptions on 76 targets. All this in just 11 games. Though its not with out saying, Fuller is one of the most injured top-end wide receivers in the league.

Fuller may have a hard time getting high end money as he has never played 16 games in a season, he has had 11 games twice, 14 games once and two seasons under 10 games. Fuller would also force team to adjust to this wide receiver corps, in turn they can’t stack the box for McCaffrey. This will allow him to get more yards with less hits, and who ever ends up the quarterback after Teddy-B will be extremely happy.

This could aggressively alter the Panthers draft in the first three rounds. This would count out any needs for a wide receiver, and possibly tight end. What this could do, is signal the team is ready to take the next step. Can they do it with Teddy-B? No. This signing could instantly suggest that taking a quarterback is a lock in the first round.
