The Washington Football Team is walking into free agency with 40-million in cap space and in a comfortable position thanks to their superior defense and a young core group of players. It is evident to the average viewer that there is still an abundance of holes after going 7-9 in a lame-duck division.

Some of those needs include a third edge rusher, quarterback, wide receiver, running back, linebacker, and safety. Of course, that isn’t in any particular order, as the quarterback position needs to be targeted with an energetic approach.

With Alex Smith going to GQ magazine to air-out this organization and what he had to endure this season, he is obviously out of the picture. Much like Kirk Cousins did before he departed, he stated how poorly he was supported and how no one believed in him. Can you blame this front office?
