Round 4 Pick 115: S Andre Cisco – Syracuse

Andre Cisco will be remembered for forcing 13 interceptions in just 24 games at Syracuse.

Seems ridiculous, right? Well, he isn’t without his flaws, either.

He’s not a very consistent tackler, sometimes doesn’t show great skills at reading the offense and he often blows coverages while looking for the big play. He’s also had some injury issues recently. All of those things result in him still sitting on the board in the fourth round.

He is the definition of raw talent, but with an emphasis on raw. Still, he would be a good pickup for the Cowboys based on their needs.

Round 4 Pick 139: DE Rashad Weaver – Pittsburgh

The Cowboys may or may not be done with Tyrone Crawford, but even if they aren’t, they could use more help on the d-line.

Rashad Weaver missed the 2019 season, but he bounced back in 2020 to record 7.5 sacks and and 14 tackles for loss in only nine games. He has a full bag of moves in the pass rush, but not one singular dominant go-to move to speak of.

He’s not as physical as others at his position, yet his length makes him difficult to keep back.

Weaver could become a bit of a project piece for the Cowboys. In the meantime, he could serve as a rotational defender on the defense.

Round 5 Pick 179: DT LaBryan Ray – Alabama

LaBryan Ray is another guy who could be a bit of a project for the Cowboys.

He, like Weaver, could be a good rotational guy on the interior line, but his ceiling might be limited. He’s a massive guy (6’5 and 292 lbs) who has insane leverage and strength at the point of attack, but he’s not agile, nor is he flexible.

What he does have, however, is fight. He’s another player who seems to give absolutely everything on every play. That kind of attitude could be a welcome addition to the Cowboys defense, even if his play doesn’t show up on the stat sheet.
