Friday brought us a flurry of NFL Draft activity, with the Miami Dolphins at the center of it all. First, the Dolphins traded the third overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for the 12th pick, along with first round picks in 2022 and 2023, and a third-round pick in 2022. Then Miami turned around and traded the 12th pick, and pick 123 in the 2021 NFL Draft, along with the 2022 first from the earlier 49ers deal, to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for the 6th pick, along with pick 156.
That’s a lot to digest. When all is said and done, it looks like the 49ers are moving up to select their QB of the future. The Eagles reportedly wanted to move up to 3 for Zach Wilson, but settled for moving to the 12th pick and grabbing a 2022 first-round pick in the deal. But what does it all mean for the Dolphins?
What do Dolphins have up their sleeves?
Miami still has five selections in the top 100 of this year’s NFL Draft. They also have an additional first round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft that can be moved in future deals. What does all this mean for the Miami Dolphins and their NFL Draft plans? Well, let’s answer that question with a mock draft!
All of the picks in this Miami Dolphins mock NFL Draft come to us courtesy of The Draft Network. There will be no trades in this mock, only seeing how things would play out should the Dolphins choose to keep all of the selections they currently have at the spots they have them.
