The Buffalo Bills are on the cusp of truly contending for a super bowl. They were clearly the second-best team in the AFC last year, but they are not yet in the same tier as the Chiefs. However, they are as close as they can be. Josh Allen is a phenomenal quarterback, after taking a major leap in year three, it appears that he will be an MVP candidate for years to come.

Acquiring Stefon Diggs prior to the season proved to be a genius move as he was one of, if not, the best wide receivers in the NFL last year. Allen and Diggs are among the best quarterback, wide receiver duos in the league, and it appears that will remain for the foreseeable future.

How can the Bills improve through the draft?

In order to make a real run at a Super Bowl win in 2021, the Bills will look to the draft to fill some needs and improve their already talented team. The Bills have the standard seven picks in the 2021 NFL Draft at this point, so they will have a chance at a good few players who can make an impact in year one. With most needs coming on the defensive side of the ball, the front office will be able to focus a lot of their attention on a few specific positions.

When the draft weekend rolls around, the Bills might have the best chance to make the biggest impact on their future. This draft will either boost the Bills into the top tiers of football, or they will stay where they are, just a step away. One thing will remain unchanged, however, and that is that the Bills will have a chance as long as Josh Allen is their quarterback.
