Looking at Bills offseason thus far

The Bills’ offseason has mostly consisted of retaining their talent up until this point. They re-signed linebacker Matt Milano, offensive tackle Daryl Williams, and offensive guard Jon Feliciano. In terms of additions, the Bills went out and signed veteran wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to a one-year deal. The other notable addition was the signing of former second overall pick Mitchell Trubisky to be the backup to Josh Allen. These moves on the offensive line keep things consistent for Josh Allen as he looks to continue his success.

These Moves signal that the Bills are happy with the team they have, and want to add players through the draft rather than free agency. Retaining Matt Milano drastically changed the draft outlook for the Bills. Many people thought he was going to command much more money than he signed for, and that it would be somewhere other than Buffalo.

However, Brandon Beane wished upon a star and the talented linebacker opted to take the hometown discount and chase a ring. Signing Sanders gives Josh Allen a solid second option, and signing Trubisky means the Bills have a capable backup. The moves might not be as shiny as some may have expected, but they were smart, and being smart builds teams.
