Team needs for Bills

Need One: Cornerback

Tre’ White is a very good cornerback, but besides White, there is not much for the Bills to hang their hat on. The cornerback class in the 2021 NFL Draft is phenomenal. The cornerbacks at the top of this draft class are all elite athletes, and they all have good tape as well. Because they are picking at the end of the first round, the Bills won’t be able to select the guys at the very top of the draft, but they will get the opportunity to draft a very good player. Without a true CB2 under contract, the Bills will look to get Tre’ White a running mate.

Need Two: Edge Rusher

Mario Addison and Jerry Hughes are not the two edge rushers that you want starting for you in 2021. They are both on the wrong side of 30 and combined for less than 10 sacks last year. With edge rusher being a premium position in the NFL, the Bills will need to find someone who can get to the opposing quarterback on a consistent basis.

Need Three: Interior Defensive Line

The interior defensive line of the Bills struggled this last year, and they might want to get a young running mate next to Ed Oliver. Bolstering the defensive line will make a huge difference for the Bills defense. Clogging run lanes and generating pressure on quarterbacks is a good way to derail offenses, and sometimes, that pressure can come from the interior.
