2. Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

The Buccaneers, located in Tampa, are going to have fans who are also fans of the Florida Gators. A large portion of those fans of both teams wants to see Kyle Trask learn under the greatest quarterback of all-time in Tampa. That is not a very good idea, however.

People see Kyle Trask and see a quarterback prospect without a dominant arm or great athletic ability and think Tom Brady. This is a PSA for everyone who thinks that: you need to stop thinking that. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time and does so many things that Kyle Trask cannot do. His arm strength is far better than Trasks, and he is much more accurate than Trask.

Kyle Trask is a quarterback prospect who doesn’t possess any sort of physical talent and was carried by elite weapons and a phenomenal Dan Mullen system. Putting quarterbacks without elite physical tools behind Tom Brady to “develop” typically ends up with them potentially starting for a year or two and then people realize they won’t be able to win anything substantial because physical tools matter at the high tiers of football. Picking Trask would be a bad pick, it’s as simple as that.
