Day-three target: Osa Odighizuwa, UCLA

If the Browns decide to take a defensive tackle in the last four rounds of the draft, then UCLA’s Osa Odighizuwa fits the bill of what they are looking for. After a final season where he racked up four sacks and six tackles behind the line of scrimmage in just seven games, Odighizuwa then went onto the Reese’s Senior Bowl where he played like the best interior defensive lineman in Mobile.

At his pro day, then, Odighizuwa tested with elite explosiveness, testing in the 16th percentile in his vertical jump, and in the top one percent in his broad jump. His agility was also put on display, testing in the top 10 percent in his short shuttle, and top 30 percent in his three-cone drill. He did not run the full 40, but rather just the first 10 yard split to show his get off; he tested in the top 23 percent in his 10 yard split.

There is a chance that Odighizuwa sneaks into the top-three rounds, but has the makings of a day-three pick who becomes a rotational piece on a team. Besides, the Browns have three defensive tackles they like heading into 2021, and only need a fourth and final rotational piece to their roster.
