Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State

Teven Jenkins was the starting right tackle for Oklahoma State and was one of the most physical players in the country. He plays with a nasty mean streak and is a true mauler. One thing that made Orlando Brown so special was his mauler mentality. He could take just about any defender out in both the run and pass game, and Jenkins can do similar things.

He is a heavy-handed tackle who can knock edge rushers back with a powerful initial pop to their pads. He’s a natural right tackle, so there will be no extra time needed to learn a new position. This pick could end up bringing more upside than what Brown would bring because of Jenkins’ athletic traits.

Brown was heavily criticized due to his historically poor combine performance. Teven Jenkins had a tremendous pro day and showed how good of an athlete he is. He is a mauling offensive tackle who also is an elite athlete, that’s pretty darn good. Additionally, he can shift inside to guard if he doesn’t work out at tackle, meaning this is a relatively safe pick in relation to others that the Baltimore Ravens could make in the 2021 NFL Draft.
