Looking at Chiefs offseason thus far

After initially cutting Mitchell Schwartz and Eric Fisher, it looked like the Chiefs were going to struggle to field an offensive line in 2021. That was until free agency started, and the Chiefs then made a splash. We all know about landing Brown earlier this week, but that was just the icing on the cake for Kansas City.

They also managed to talk interior offensive lineman Kyle Long out of retirement, re-signed Austin Wylie as a depth piece, then landed the white whale that is Joe Thuney from the New England Patriots. They also landed former Los Angeles Rams’ center Austin Blythe, and are now expecting Laurent Duvernay-Tardiff to return after opting out in 2020 as well.

They then added depth pieces in Mike Remmers, Taco Charleton, and re-signed wide receivers Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle as well. Another big name they added was in the form of former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed as well. Needless to say, the Chiefs have put together quite the strong offseason.

How can they carry that momentum into the 2021 NFL Draft?
