Raiders 2021 offseason moves

After failing to make the playoffs for the second straight year under General Manager Mike Mayock and Head Coach Jon Gruden the 2021 season will be huge for them both to prove they were worthy and smart hires. The 2021 offseason has been quiet for many teams but that isn’t the case when it comes to the Las Vegas Raiders.

So far this offseason the Raiders have made a slew of signings not only bringing back some of their own guys but also hit the free agent market heavily. The Raiders are bringing back guys like Richie Incognito, Jonathan Hankins, David Irving, Nevin Lawson, Zay Jones, Kendal Vickers, Theo Riddick, and Denzelle Good among others. The Raiders resigned a total of 13 players that were on the 2020 roster.

Looking at the free agency market the Raiders went ahead and signed a total of 12 players. The Raiders will now have guys like John Brown, Lester Cotton Jr, Kenyan Drake, Karl Joseph, Yannick Ngakoue, Willie Snead IV, Solomon Thomas, and Nick Martin among others. It’s clear that Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden are doing their best to stack talent around quarterback Derek Carr and as well as reshaping the defensive depth to make a playoff run.
