4. Jonathan Marshall, DT, New York Jets

The decision to go with Zach Wilson over Justin Fields will be a polarizing one for the next decade, but after that, the Jets quietly had an excellent draft, including stealing Marshall in the late sixth round, 207th overall. His production at Arkansas doesn’t jump off the page and will turn 24 in September, but he is extremely explosive and shows the ability to be extremely disruptive. His first step is great and his build lends itself to being a nice penetrator from inside.

He must become a more consistent player, but given how weak this defensive tackle class was, nabbing one of, if not the most physically talented player at the position this late is a boon for New York. He can be brought along slowly behind Quinnen Williams and Sheldon Rankins and provide some serious pass-rushing juice on third down.

It may take a bit of time for Marshall to become what he can be, but the talent was just too much for the Jets to pass up at this point on Day 3, and the addition of Marshall just built upon a mostly excellent class for New York, depending on how you feel about the second and third-best quarterbacks this year.
