Nakobe Dean – Linebacker

Nakobe Dean might be the most talented linebacker in the draft class. He’s not the biggest guy but the NFL has been trending towards athleticism over size for a number of years now and Dean epitomizes that.

He’s everywhere on the Georgia defense, making plays against the run, covering receivers, and going after the quarterback. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. recently released his big board, and Dean is his ninth-rated prospect. If he can continue to perform then he should be a first-round pick.

Lewis Cine – Safety

It’s always tough to establish how NFL teams value safeties, but Cine is making a case to be the first one drafted. His name is appearing more and more in the first round of mock drafts (NFL mock draft database) and his draft stock looks as if it will continue to rise. If Georgia can continue to shut down opposing offenses once the playoffs come around then he could quickly become a team’s top selection.
