The Minnesota Vikings have a chance to take over this division quickly, but which 2022 NFL Draft prospects could help turn their team around?

The Vikings have done decently in the last two drafts, though hitting big on Justin Jefferson was maybe their best pick in years. With their current squad, there are questions along the lines of youth, cornerback, offensive line, and linebacker depth. Which is nothing that they can’t fix, in free agency and this 2022 NFL Draft.

Currently, the Vikings have the following picks in the 2022 NFL Draft:

1st round 12th overall, 2nd round 46th overall, 3rd round 77th overall, 5th round 155th overall, 6th round 182nd overall, 6th round 190th overall, 6th round 207th overall, 7th round 230th overall

While they are missing a fourth-round pick they still hold eight picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.

It is hard going into the free agency period and the early part of draft season without a head coach, but it looks like the coach part will be handled shortly. I would look for them to be quite aggressive in both free agency and the draft knowing this could be the time to strike and take the division in 2022.

It may also be the last year we see Kirk Cousins in a Vikings uniform, who after getting an otherworldly deal, has done little to show for it by way of a title.
