What should the Eagles do to finish out this draft strong with their remaining eight picks?

Sitting in the ’50s the Eagles should have no shortage of offensive linemen options, which would be a great route if they chose to go defense and WR in the first round. This class has a lot of depth at the OL with little by way of true elite talent at the top of the draft. There will also be a lot of depth in the front seven areas as well if they want to go out and attack EDGE and ILB.

There is a massive drop-off in corners from where they would be mid-first to mid-second round, so if they miss on a corner in the first round. They may wait until later to attack that position.

I would look for the Eagles with their day three picks to target specific position needs such as third-down back, nickel pass rush, special teams, and another quarterback. There will be plenty of gadget players, return specialists, and project quarterbacks in rounds five through seven for them to take a run at.

This is a draft that could not only signal what we can expect the Eagles do to over the next three seasons but also their faith in Hurts as their franchise QB.

Getting some safety help and depth would be wise as well, we saw several teams last year go double safety in the draft. One who is more of a true safety and one being a tweener, LB/Slot corner/S type player and using them both in multiple ways. As bad as Las Vegas`s draft was that move worked out well, the Jets did the same, we also saw Dallas do this, but with free agency.

Next. Ravens need to make a splash with this trade before the NFL Draft. dark

With the ammo they have the Eagles might be the most aggressive team in the 2022 NFL Draft, by way of trade. Trading up or down in multiple rounds.
