Players the Denver Broncos can trade for draft picks

Garett Bolles, LT

This one might come as a surprise, but Garett Bolles could be a trade candidate this offseason.  The Denver Broncos have someone named Calvin Anderson who has filled in nicely at left tackle in backup and spot starting duties since coming into the NFL in 2019.

Garett Bolles has missed most of the season with a broken leg, so Anderson has gotten quite a bit of run this year.  He was also being coached up by Mike Munchak up until 2022, who is largely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL.

Not only could the Denver Broncos get some cap relief, but Bolles is someone who could perhaps get the Broncos a second round pick in return.  Quality offensive linemen are so hard to come by in the NFL, so it wouldn’t make a ton of sense for the Broncos to trade Bolles, right?

Well, I happen to think it’s very possible and I do think plenty teams could be interested in his services.

This would, though, put some uncertainty on the team’s offensive line going forward, and the unit was one of the worst in the NFL this year, so from a practicality standpoint, it might not make a ton of sense to do this, but I do think Denver picks up the phone if the price is right.
